Last year, the tech team at YSL Beauty gave us free rein on a video for their new tool, the Hyper Look Studio. It had to show how precise the technology is, without losing the creative side of the brand.

Very quickly, our research came down to one question: what does the inside of the machine look like? And how do you turn a stream of data that never stops changing into an actual space?

We decided to take the viewer inside the system. We imagined an architecture held together by a neon grid. In there, nothing stands still. Data floats, crosses paths, connects, and each transition flows into the next. The tool itself is all about following trends as they move, so the camera never stops either. It drifts through the space in one long flow, and that movement is pretty much what the tool does.
