How do you look fresh at a bottle everyone has seen a million times? In mass-market drinks, the rules are always the same. Condensation dripping down the glass, friends, a party. That's what's supposed to make you thirsty.

For this research project we went the other way and took things out. We dried the glass and put the bottle alone in an empty space. At that point it stops being a drink and becomes a piece of industrial design.

From there, we shot it the way you'd shoot a high-tech part. The camera moves across the glass with motion-control precision, as if it were inspecting hardware or something built for aerospace. No warm nightlife lighting. Just sharp green beams that sweep over the bottle like scanners and bring out its geometry.

In that contrast of light and shadow, the red star, the embossing on the glass and the lettering on the cap stop reading as branding. They become shapes. We weren't trying to make anyone thirsty. We wanted to take the brand out of its everyday setting and show how precisely built this bottle is, until an ordinary object starts to feel like a monument.
